Jason Farris has a background in management consulting, private equity investing and marketing, and has served in senior executive roles in the financial services technology sector for seven years. In the year and a half leading up to his June, 2006 appointment as president and CEO of Citizens Bank of Canada, Jason managed a private investment fund, consulted for the Jim Pattison Group and established a book and film production company, circaNow Productions. Previously, Jason was vice president of Fincentric Corporation, a software company based in Richmond, British Columbia. Jason has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he developed his expertise in post-merger management of high tech firms. Jason also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science (Physics) degree from the University of British Columbia. In 2001, Jason was recognized as one of Business in Vancouver's "40 under 40" achievers.
