Young entrepreneur focusing on future
With university now in her rearview mirror, Tecumseh's Emilie Cushman is focusing squarely on her future as part of Next 36, a group of entrepreneurial students from across Canada.
Cushman, who was recently named winner of the HSBC Woman Leader of Tomorrow Award from the Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship organization, is spending the summer in Toronto as part of a fourperson team developing new human resources technology to help streamline the hiring process for businesses.
"It's been quite a month," said Cushman, a recent business studies graduate of the University of Windsor. "It was very gratifying to win the award, but now there are fresh challenges to face and I'm excited about it."
