Dr. Kathy Newton is a marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in consumer packaged goods and pharmaceutical marketing management in Canada and the U.S. Some of the companies she has worked for include Frito-Lay, Nabisco, Bausch & Lomb and GlaxoSmithKline. In addition to holding a BSc, MBA, MSc (Business and Management Research), she recently completed a Doctor of Business Administration (joint program Rotman School of Management/Henley Business School) with a focus on relationship-based brand loyalty. Her general area of expertise is brand strategy and planning. Kathy works as a brand strategy consultant and is a lecturer and doctoral mentor at the University of Toronto.
